Walters State Community College opened the Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center in 1996 to stimulate community and economic development through agribusiness, educational and commercial activities and events. The Expo Center includes a 98,000 square-foot pavilion with a 300' x 150' show ring, seating for 3,900 and the Jefferson Federal Conference Room.
